Interactive slider card without dies

Interactive slider card

Have you ever made a slider card?

If you've always wanted to know how then make sure to read this tutorial!

I created this card using the HUGS & KISSES Stamp set from little birdie crafts.

Here's what you need:

Clear Stamps

A2 size cardstock base

Ink & coloring supplies

Foam tape

Cutting knife and scale

One hole punch

1 coin

Step 1 : Stamp & color image.  You can choose any type of stamp to create this card. For my card I stamped the pig with cupcake and little piglet in black ink & colored them with Copic Markers.

Step 2 : Create your slider channel.  You could make your piglet go straight.  I just cut a piece of card stock that was as wide as my card and then used one hole punch to create a slider channel.

Then I cut the piece of card stock that I will be using on my card. This one is also 4×6" wide. Make 2 holes on lower side of panel. Then, use a ruler and mark it to the punched circles from each side and cut it.

Step 3 : Use your cutting knife to cut out the shape between the two lines. (make sure that your penny is taller than the slot you created)

Step 4 : Stick a narrow foam strip onto the coin.

Step 5 : Insert your coin into the slot you created.

Then adhere your image on top of the coin. If you move your cardstock, your image should slide back and forth!

That's all there is to it -- Finish your card any way you'd like! Make sure you attach your slider part to the card with some dimensional dots so it has room to slide around.
Then stamped a message on white cardstock, adhered it to the top of the panel.

Here us the pic of the finished card look...
