Merry & bright- Stenciled background card

 Hi there! 

It's almost December And I'm feeling the Christmas spirit at home and in the craft room! I stamped a lot this weekend and used my brand new stamps from Tubby Craft. 

I swear I smile the entire time I'm using their fun and pretty stamps. They bring me joy for sure. I got to color, and glitter and generally get in the feeling of winter! I have two cards to share with you today! Let's kick off this season!

So Today I’m sharing this project over on the tubby craft blog featuring the watercolour lines stencil & shine on stamp set. 


For the background I used the watercolour stripes stencil & blended inks for a nice, gradient effect.

I die cut 2 stitched rectangle with white cardsotck & I blended some emerald green on the edges of the die cut. And For the sentiment I used the "Merry and Bright" from the same stamp set.

Positioned the stencil on the diagonal ensuring that corners were included, then used some low tack tape to hold the stencil in position.

Following the lines (from top to bottom) of the stencil I used a blending brush with "Imperial red" Ink pad.  

I then lifted the stencil and repositioned it, so that the stencil lines covered teh "imperial red" lines I had just created.  I then used the same technique with "Emerald green".

Once the tape and stencil are removed you can see the finished background grid, which I think is really pretty as they're.

I then moved on to the stamping using imperial red ink  I stamped the sentiment and

Using the small piece of card, I coloured the holly leaves image. Then coloured it using Alcohol markers. then cut out the image and adhered it over the stamped image on the card.

Card 2

Are you excited about Christmas? Have you started to Deck the Halls?? 
I created this little Christmas home scene.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock 4” by 6” and stamped the pair of baubles, snowflakes & stars from the shine on stamp set in various Inks.


I had absolutely no idea of what I wanted to do when I started this card. I just stamped this little girl decorating a Christmas tree. Then copic colored them, 

I had a new watercolour lines stencil that I wanted to try out, so that became the floor of their little house. I added a Christmas tree with little jar.

by simply adding lines for the ornaments to hang on will change the essence of this card.

After that I added the sentiment from the same stamp set. I made a little wreath by stamping the holly leaves & hanged it on a wall. 

Finally added the white gelly roll details on the baubles. 

A very simple Christmas card, I hope you like it.

First up today is a super fun birthday card with the adorable mama  elephantstamp set! I adore them! I stamped and die cut out images and clouds . I used the Purrfect Birthday stamp set for those add-ons. Then, for the sentiment I used the altenew Happy birthday stamp set. This is a slimeline card - measuring 6" x 3". I love the sizzix Circles die cut and cut that out of a white panel. I blended the back of circles with Distressed oxide.    The top white layer with the circles was mounted to the card using foam tape. Again I spattered some oxide inks. Then I attached the elephants and clouds with foam tape also.  I added a few sparkly purple enamel dots to finish it off. I hope u all like it... This is my 1st slimeline card for challeges.. Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #486

Hi stamping friends  I’m jumping into a challenge today over on the Cupacke inspiration challenge #486  and their challenge this month is,    I have the My favourite things stamp set! It’s called Piles of Fun and it is filled with so many adorable critters having fun in the fall. I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly Black Ink and then colored them with pencils n waterbrush pen. I then went to work on my card background. I cut a piece of White Card Stock then blended this panel with green Distress Oxide Inks. I then stenciled my panel lightly with green ink  leafy  dry, I tbranches. Then trimmed my  to blended cardstock to design cutter. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in the top right portion on the brown card with Black Ink and adhered all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to give them more dimension.  If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my Instagram feed!!!

AAA birthday card challenge - Flowers

Hello & welcome everyone, Spring is just around the corner..🤗 This time I made a beautiful Birthday card for AAA card challenge blog #14 Theme is flowers...💐🌻 I used mostly these products for my card: *Hero art stamps *Altenew stamps- Happy birthday sentiment s *Bubble stencil *Tim holtz distressed oxide inks I began with an 6" x 3" card base which is just the right size for your standard envelopes. For the background, I inked the bubble stencil with carved pumpkins & candid apple distressed oxides. Next, I stamped the flowers colored with distressed inks by using waterbrush (list of colors below), and fussy cut out. Then I stamped the Happy birthday sentiment in black at the centre. To put the card together, I used foam tape on almost all the images and added a few matching rhinestones to it. Thank you for visiting with me today...  Till then Happy crafting...
