Mermaid shaker card

Hi all!

I'm so excited today to share my shaker card for Stampers Delight May New Release!  I play with the newest stamp set from SD called Mermazing. This set is so cute and gorgeous, I LOVE it!! So I made an sea underwater scene and love how it turn out :)



I wanted to create a shaker card & just fill the frame with mermaids & their swimming companions...



I had a fun with choosing hairs & tail combos for mermaids. I added a layer of glitter on her tail & it looks fabulous.
Just love how bright & fun all these colours are!
Before adding the acetate I placed my card panel on top of my card base and only glued the inner panel that way it is lined up nicely.
I then arranged some of my images. Now I was ready to create the shaker component. I used various star shaped sequins to match my color scheme. I adhered acetate and foam tape onto the frame and placed it onto my card base.

The sentiment is then trimmed & adhere to the card panel.


I think it really finishes it off nicely...

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #486

Hi stamping friends  I’m jumping into a challenge today over on the Cupacke inspiration challenge #486  and their challenge this month is,    I have the My favourite things stamp set! It’s called Piles of Fun and it is filled with so many adorable critters having fun in the fall. I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly Black Ink and then colored them with pencils n waterbrush pen. I then went to work on my card background. I cut a piece of White Card Stock then blended this panel with green Distress Oxide Inks. I then stenciled my panel lightly with green ink  leafy  dry, I tbranches. Then trimmed my  to blended cardstock to design cutter. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in the top right portion on the brown card with Black Ink and adhered all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to give them more dimension.  If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my Instagram feed!!!

Timeout challenges-Birthday theme + die cutting

First up today is a super fun birthday card with the adorable mama  elephantstamp set! I adore them! I stamped and die cut out images and clouds . I used the Purrfect Birthday stamp set for those add-ons. Then, for the sentiment I used the altenew Happy birthday stamp set. This is a slimeline card - measuring 6" x 3". I love the sizzix Circles die cut and cut that out of a white panel. I blended the back of circles with Distressed oxide.    The top white layer with the circles was mounted to the card using foam tape. Again I spattered some oxide inks. Then I attached the elephants and clouds with foam tape also.  I added a few sparkly purple enamel dots to finish it off. I hope u all like it... This is my 1st slimeline card for challeges.. Pull tab flip card- ft. Dinosaur stamp set

Hi Everyone, Today I want to show you a fun card with a little motion to it.  When you pull the tab, the front panel flips open to reveal a second panel hidden beneath it.  Isn't that fun?  I think so!  Watch the video below to see it in action and to learn how to make it. These are the basic sizes of cardstock you will need to create the card, plus a card base.  The 4 3/4 by 3 1/2 piece of cardstock.  This piece needs to be scored at 2inches and 2 1/2 inches. Fold it on the 2 1/2 inch score line. attach your first square right up to that 2 inch score line.  add some adhesive on the remaining part between the 2 and 2 1/2 inch score lines. Place your larger panel on top of  the smaller one, right up to that fold line, adhering only on the little space where you added adhesive in the photo above. unfold the tab piece and add a strip of adhesive just on the edge, under the smaller square.  Slide the tab piece through the slot in the base cardstock Paper. move the panel piece around a
